Save energy – save electricity

Why should we save energy?

Pollution is the major and most significant cause of morbidity and mortality among sensitive populations. Pollution also has negative influence over plants, agriculture and the quality of our drinking water.

One of Israel’s major pollution sources is CO2 gas emitted by power stations, industrial plants, transportation and home and commercial consumption. Rise in CO2 concentrations causes atmospheric temperature to rise, climate changes and Earth’s global warming.

Warming is caused by different gases absorbing some of the sun’s energy that reaches Earth and instead of returning to space in the form of heat energy it remains trapped in the atmosphere. When emitted energy decreases, Earth’s temperature rises and the atmosphere that envelops it heats up. This phenomenon is called the Greenhouse Effect.

This effect causes climatic changes around the world followed by severe ecological phenomena, including drying up of water sources, damage to eco systems and many living creatures, radical weather events expressed in devastating storms and floods. The icebergs are melting and the ocean level is rising, threatening to flood the world’s coastal cities.

Emission of greenhouse gases may be significantly decreased by decreasing electric consumption, saving energy and using up a smaller amount of resources.

The Kashtan Group provides its customers with various integrated energy saving solutions including LED lighting, monitoring and control systems, controlled and independent emergency lighting, sensors and detectors.

Our team of consultants is at your disposal, providing a response for any project from planning stages, through realization and until it is handed and integrated to the customer’s full satisfaction.
