In recent years, global awareness for the need to save energy and protect environment has increased. The use of detectors helps reduce energy consumption significantly.

 

The use of detectors not only significantly reduces electricity consumption, helping our customers save on their electricity bills, but also helps preserve the environment by decreasing the emission of CO2, mainly produced in electric generation. There are several detection methods:

 

1.            Passive Infra Red (PIR) detector. This detector identifies the body heat emitted by a person within a particular space.

 

2.            Integrated Passive Infra Red (PIR) and acoustic detector. It senses the body heat emitted by a person within the space and also “hears” noises in this space.

 

The two methods mentioned above are passive and environmentally friendly. Using these methods, the detector perceives things that occur in the environment without requiring any action in order to make its detection.

 

The detectors include connection to different buttons enabling control of lighting, air-conditioners, shades etc.

 

For example: you can turn off/dim the light when you are in the space but want to work on a presentation and do not require a lot of light.
